First Steps
1. Import Your Products
How you add products depends on your store platform:
Shopify
- Products are imported from your Shopify store via the Add products button
- Select products or collections to watch
WooCommerce
- Connect your store in Settings → Store connection (or download and install the plugin) and sync products and prices from WooCommerce
- Alternatively, add products via CSV/manual/automatic import (same as any other webstore)
Any webstore (via CSV/manual/automatic import)
- Add manually: Enter product details one at a time (always available, regardless of platform)
- Automatic import: Paste your store URL to scrape and import products automatically
- CSV upload: Import products from a spreadsheet
- Optionally enable test discovery when adding products to automatically find competitors on Google, Google Shopping, and Amazon
For all platforms you can:
- View all imported products in the Products tab
- Filter products by status, inventory, collections, brands, pricing rules, and more
- Search for specific products by title or SKU
2. Add Competitors
Before you can set up alerts or repricing, you need to add competitors for your products:
Option A: Manual Addition
- Open a product profile page
- Click "Add competitor"
- Paste the competitor's product direct URL
- The system will automatically extract the price
Option B: Automatic Discovery
- Click "Discover competitors" from the products list or product profile
- Add competitor store domains or select discover all available competitors if you are not sure
- The system will automatically find matching products
- If the system is confident about the match, it will add it automatically; otherwise you can confirm or discard it manually (one-by-one or in bulk by similarity level and/or competitor store domain)
Option C: CSV Import
- Click "Discover or import competitors"
- Select "Import via CSV file"
- Upload a CSV file with competitor URLs or SKUs
- The system will match them to your previously imported products
Option D: Universal Import
For non-Shopify stores (WooCommerce, any webstore via CSV/manual/automatic import) it is also possible to import all products along with competitors using one CSV file (example CSV files are available).
3. Set Product Status
Each product can have three statuses:
- Draft - Product is not being monitored (default for new products without added competitor URLs)
- Watch - Product is being monitored, but prices won't be updated automatically (enabled automatically as you add your first competitor)
- Watch & Reprice - Product is monitored and prices will be automatically updated based on pricing rules
4. Configure Your First Alert Rule
- Go to the Alert Rules tab
- Click "Add new rule"
- Configure when you want to be alerted (e.g., "when competitors' prices are 10% lower than mine" or "when competitors' prices are 5% lower than before")
- Enable the rule
- Enable "Instant alert" if you want to receive an email immediately when a new price is detected
- Affected products will appear in the "Alerted" tab
- Alerted products are also included in email daily/weekly reports
5. Set Up Your First Pricing Rule
- Go to the Pricing Rules tab
- Click "Add new rule"
- Define your pricing strategy (e.g., "price 5% below cheapest competitor")
- Optionally apply it to specific products or collections
- Products with "Watch & Reprice" status will use this rule to update product (product variant) price
- Products with "Watch" status will use this rule to update their Suggested price
